If you don’t have the answers, you could end up being that man or
woman looking for a black cat in a dark room all your life.
Ever felt lost? Frustrated? Angry? Anxious? Hopeless? Or simply discouraged
in the pursuit of your professional or personal goals?
The first question is who the bleep are you? Are you, the CEO, CFO, COO, CTO,
CHO (Chief Happiness Officer) or an OOO (Don’t ask. Don’t want to know!).
If you don’t want to know or be open to tough questions, simply zap this
paragraph. But if you want to go on thinking, know that you are NOT what is in
your zillion-dollar brain. Hence, you are NOT the sum of your experiences or
what was recorded in your brain. Part of the brain is just to record all your
experiences, real or imaginary, which are now nothing but passive illusions.
Your brain keeps all your memories or the useful things like a handbag would.
And you can lose those memories. People who have accidents and suffer from
permanent amnesia have to start collecting new experiences again to fill up
their «bags» with new data.
Let’s look at it from another perspective and ask yourself this question
regarding who you are, and the information you have in your brain: If you stick
your finger in ketchup, is your finger the ketchup?
What if you stick it in chocolate cream?
No, your finger is neither the crème au Chocolat nor the ketchup. No matter
where you stick it, your now sticky finger will remain a finger. Right?
Now, what if this finger was an entity or a soul, and it penetrated a field of data
or culture in China? Would this entity be Chinese?
What if this same entity decided to enter another field of data made of
hamburgers, Coke, baseball, etc., and swam for the rest of his or her life in the
vast ocean of data made in America? Would this entity be American?
Again, no! Hamburgers, Coke, baseball, rice, dumplings, roast ducks, are all
data recorded in the information bag or the subconscious mind or brain of the
entity and they look like this: 001101010111100010.
So, a soul entering a field of data is not the data. Medical studies have shown
that data or experiences stored in the mind can be completely eradicated by
brain injuries or amnesia, while the entity or person still functions.
If this entity happens to be you – who the bleep are you?
Are we just creatures with a pair of legs, eyes, ears, hands, and feet waddling
through fields of 001101010111100010? We are not French, American, African,
or Chinese – even if we happen to live in China, are hooked on rice and
dumplings, and speak fluent Mandarin.
So the question again is: who the bleep are you?
We may think we are Jews, Arabs, Christians, Muslims, Blacks, Caucasians,
Hispanics, Russians, Irish, Greeks, Georgians, English, Spanish, Mongolians,
Turks, or a hundred designations given to these information bags. In fact, there
are only two types of information that we all carry around with us in our bags –
information that works, and information that does not work.
Look at it this way: whether it’s a black cat, a white cat, or a brown cat, the cat
that catches the mouse should be the cat that you ought to keep around. Hence,
keep the belief systems that work for you and that make you feel good. Belief
systems that create fear, anger, resentment, frustration, or vulnerability should
be deleted. If we all did this, we would have a better subconscious human-
computer to work on.
If we understand that all philosophies, cultures, or perceptions are nothing but
a series of 001101010111100010s, we will have discovered freedom. Now, how
should we use this freedom to create harmony and a brighter future?
A brighter future? Is that our objective? Is that what we are all running after:
trying to create a brighter future? Too vague…
Or, are we daily running for more money, success, recognition, and
mistakenly took the finger to be the moon? When we focus too intently on the
finger we miss the moon and all the stars and the heaven above.
In fact, money, success, or recognition are not what we are after. They are just
vehicles or means that can help make us feel good – momentarily!
Success, money, or recognition should not be perceived as the moon,
but as vehicles that can help us feel GOOD – or BAD!
Recently the CEO of a 220-billion dollar company who mistook the finger for
the moon endangered his company. After losing billions through violation of
business ethics, he had to step down in disgrace. The man was so obsessed with
recognition and success that he missed the moon completely. He is feeling real
BAD now after losing his VIP status.

“Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust
to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within
you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a
cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle.
You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can
crash. Be water, my friend.”
